It presents the main types of lorries and semi-trailers, along with the characteristics of these

road transport vehicles. Their descriptions are paired – colloquial Polish terms are matched with their English equivalents. Here we can identify the features of vehicles suitable for specific types of transport and specific goods, such as: Refrigerated Semi-Trailer (a visible element of the design – a protruding refrigeration unit) – for transporting loads requiring a controlled temperature, a stanchion semi-trailer – with vertical stanchions on the sides of the body – for transporting long loads, etc. In turn, based on the design and type of body, such as in a JUMBO-type semi-trailer where a stepped loading deck is visible and significantly smaller wheels are used – we can visualise how the loading area increases. TRANSMEMORY TSL also provides an excellent opportunity to discuss transport, reinforces information, and can support space planning, the selection of appropriate packaging/methods/means of transport, as well as the decisions made by logistics professionals. 

TRANSMEMORY TSL – MARITIME

It contains extremely valuable information on the types, varieties and characteristics of containers used in maritime transport. Key details, highlighted and described in the illustrations, help to identify differences and facilitate understanding of their applications. For example, the illustration of the PW Pallet Wide container (pallet width) shows that this feature can be present in a container regardless of its size, and enables the loading of Euro pallets (120 x 80 cm) across the width of the container – as in standard road trailers, which is not an obvious feature (a standard container has an internal width of approximately 2.35 m). The same applies to the HC High Cube container type – i.e. taller than the standard >2.5 m. Furthermore, the game includes information on other specialist containers available on the market, such as OT (Open Top), RF (Reefer), CS (Curtain Side), SD (Side Door) and others. These illustrations convey extremely useful industry information, enabling the selection and adaptation of the appropriate packaging and mode of transport for a given load, taking into account its dimensions or specific characteristics.
